Window Finder

Recommends release windows for your game: give it your genre and constraints, and it scores every candidate week by crowding in your genre, with big releases nearby shown for context.

Window Finder
Each suggested window shows its score, the competition inside it and the big releases nearby. Every window links to its calendar page.
  • Pick your genre tags (up to ten) — crowding is computed against games that share them, not the whole store.
  • Constrain the range if your dates are already boxed in: a quarter, a month, anything.
  • Set what counts as a big release — the follower count above which a neighbouring release is listed. It is context, not a penalty: over three years of releases, launching next to one did not cost self-published games reviews.
  • Attach your game via search to keep the context while you compare windows.
