Genre seasonality
Shows when each genre actually ships and how those months perform, so you can tell a genuinely quiet month from one that is quiet for a reason.

- Read a row. Each genre is a row of twelve months: the share of its releases that came out in each month, across every year we have. Every row is stretched to its own quietest and busiest month, so compare months within a row, not colours across rows. The peak and total columns give the busiest month and the number of dated releases.
- Hover a month to list its best-known releases of all years by reviews; click to pin the list.
- Sort and add. Family keeps related genres together, A–Z and Popular reorder the rows; Add any tag puts a tag of your own into the table.
- Click a genre to open its density map: the same genre week by week, year by year.
- A tag with too few dated releases gets no pattern: a row built on a handful of games would show noise as a season.
