Coverage and freshness: what the numbers are built on and where the edges are.
- Release dates, tags, prices, reviews and followers come from Steam store pages, all 300k+ of them: 203k games, the rest DLC and other add-ons. Data refreshes hourly; the sidebar footer shows the snapshot date.
- Popular Upcoming and wishlist ranks are tracked continuously. Games that came out before tracking began have no rank history, so demand for them falls back to reviews.
- Calendar history reaches back to 1997, as far as Steam store pages carry dated releases. Far-future coverage is limited to chart-toppers: precise dates usually appear two to four weeks before release.
