Pitch comps

Paste the pitch of a game that does not exist yet and get the comparables a publisher asks for: the games that read like it and what became of them, failures included. It answers what happened to people who already did this, not whether your game will work. No idea yet? Unbuilt deals you one.

What this page does not do, and why

Demand for your game is tested by a store page and wishlists, not by text: the measured ceiling of text-only scoring is AUC 0.63, against 0.84 once a real page exists. Everything below is a base rate of a group, dated, and it moves when you reword the pitch — by 4–6 points on the same idea, against about 11 between different ideas. Read it as a band, not a point.

It does not look for an unoccupied niche: niche density, its growth and how much similar work ships around your date were measured against outcomes and predict nothing. And it does not chase what is heating up: the “this niche is warming” signal decays to zero over eighteen months, which is exactly one development cycle. What survives that horizon is the track record of the pair — see how we measure.
