About the data
Dates and events come from Steamworks’ list of upcoming events and from Steam’s own event pages.
Demo player counts are measured from Next Fest Autumn 2026 (October) onward. For earlier editions we know the lineup and which games came out afterwards, but not how many people played the demos.
Themed fests are on the timeline with their dates; who took part and what it gave them is not collected yet.
