These games were not on the chart at the start of the period — fresh announcements or games coming back — so they have no change in place to compare.how the list is built
The list covers games that are not out yet and sit in the top 3,000 of Steam’s Top Wishlists chart at the end of the period. A week runs from Sunday to Sunday; a month from the last day of the previous month to its own last day, and the current month is shown up to its last full day.
By default it leaves out games from big corporate publishers (SEGA, Ubisoft, Square Enix, Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, Capcom, Konami, Electronic Arts, Activision Blizzard, Xbox Game Studios, PlayStation, Bethesda, 2K, Take-Two, Rockstar Games, Warner Bros. Games, CD PROJEKT, NetEase, Tencent, KRAFTON, Nexon, Netmarble, NCSoft, Riot Games, Epic Games, Valve, HoYoverse) and adult games — those players tag Sexual Content, Nudity, Hentai or NSFW.
Of the rest, the 30 games whose place improved the most make the list, ordered by wishlists gained. Improvement is a ratio, not a difference in places: #4,000 → #2,000 and #400 → #200 count as the same jump.
Steam does not publish wishlist counts, so the wishlist numbers here are our approximate estimate based on the chart place. Followers are the game’s Steam community followers.
These are the defaults. The filters above the list change them, and the link keeps your settings, so you can share a configured view.
